Pirinen group invites applications for a position of

LABORATORY TECHNICIAN

The part-time or full-time position is planned for 16.8.2021 till 31.12.2021 with a possibility of extension.

We are looking for a laboratory technician with a background in molecular and cellular biology. We expect good cooperation, accuracy, reliability, work-fearless attitude and the proficiency in written and spoken English. Prior experience in cell culture experiments is considered a surplus.

The main responsibilities of the research technician will be to help other team members in their projects, including cell culture, molecular biology and work with different types of research samples. Furthermore, the technician will take care of orders, maintain the laboratory inventory and prepare necessary reagents for the research group. The applicant should have also an interest in new technologies and be open to learning something new every day.

Salary will be based on the Universities salary scheme composed of both task specific and personal performance components. Depending on the funding situation an extension of the fixed-term work period might be possible.
