Applications are invited from enthusiastic and capable individuals for a Lab managerial position in Professor Paul Lehner's research group, based in the Cambridge Institute of Therapeutic Immunology and Infectious Disease (CITIID) in The Jeffrey Cheah Biomedical Centre on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus.

The successful applicant will join a research group which comprises approximately 12 researchers, including 6 postdoctoral Research Associates and 5 graduate students. The work of the lab is multi-disciplinary, combining cutting edge genetic and proteomic approaches within virology, immunology, cell and chromatin biology.

You will play an essential role in the effective and efficient, day-to-day management of the research laboratory, to ensure smooth running of the group and support of research staff. Laboratory management experience and good organisational skills are essential.

Applications from experienced scientists are encouraged, with proven skills in molecular biology and biochemical techniques essential.

The managerial role could be undertaken part time, or full-time involving hands-on laboratory projects. The appointee will have at least a BSc in one of the Biological sciences with relevant laboratory experience.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 2 years in the first instance.
