An exciting opportunity to work as a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Associate has arisen as part of a collaboration project between Julia Charles Event Management Ltd (JCEM) and Cranfield University.  The project will focus on Sustainability and Sustainable Event Management.

About the Role

Your role will lead the development of an intelligent novel platform that assesses planned events to a) make recommendations to reduce the environmental impact and, b) verify event-based greenhouse gas emission levels and align these to sector standards.

About You

This role requires knowledge of Data Science, software development, along with AI/Machine Learning technology. Knowledge of event management, Web Graphic Interface Development and databases would also be desirable in this role. This role would suit an individual with excellent data analysis and reporting skills, project management and stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to communicate complex information clearly. Previous coding experience is essential. You will hold an MSc or PhD level degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related subject, or preferably, a PhD in one of these areas.

You will be based at Milton Keynes and will work closely with Chris Craffey at JCEM Ltd and a team of academics from SWEE and SOM at the Cranfield University.
