An outstanding opportunity has arisen to join the award winning built environment team within the Faculty of Science and Engineering at the University of Wolverhampton. We are seeking two full time (permanent) Knowledge Transfer Managers (KTMs) to work on the and act as the focal point for the delivery of the School of Architecture and the Built Environment (SoABE) and NBI outputs.

The posts will support and manage all SME support projects, accessing companies coming into the project and arrange delivery of business assists to a range of companies drawing on resources provided by SoABE and NBI.

It is important to have expertise associated with business support development, and manage a series of construction, Innovation and brownfield related workshops, as a means of attracting SMEs to the school and the project. You will also be expected to engage where appropriate with external partners, academic and research staff that can support business in specialist areas that may be outside of your experience.

You will be expected to support the Head of School and Associate Head of School in maintaining excellent industrial links and will engage with a range of interventions eg KT and innovation projects, training and locating market drivers for remediation of land and buildings in the Black Country. Strong linkages with the network of organisations that are active in supporting the built environment and remediation sector in the region to maximise exposure for the project and the support it can offer.  You are therefore likely to be one of the first point of contact for SMEs engaging with the project.
