Kitchen Porter

Salary: £23,188 per annum


Nuffield College is a graduate college specialising in the Social Sciences.  The College invites applications for a Kitchen Porter position to join our team of Chefs and Front of House staff. The postholder will maintain a clean environment in the kitchen, operate the dishwasher and assist with deliveries and waste collection. The College will support the postholder to undertake any relevant training to enhance their career and financial support for these development activities will be provided where appropriate.

Our benefits package includes 41 days paid annual leave inclusive of public holidays and closed periods at Christmas and Easter, free meals whilst on duty, a discounted travel to work scheme and a contributory pension scheme.

Recruitment Monitoring Form  

Applications consisting of a covering letter and CV, together with the names and postal and email addresses of two referees, together with a Recruitment Monitoring Form should be submitted to [email protected] or to the Human Resources Department, Nuffield College, New Road, Oxford OX1 1NF no later than 12:00 noon on Friday 31st May 2024.  

Interviews will be ongoing as applications will be assessed as they are received, and candidates meeting the selection criteria could be invited for interview before the closing.
