An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Key Account Building Manager, to join our Estates & Facilities Directorate at the University of Wolverhampton. You will be responsible for liaising and networking with tenants and Key stakeholders, working as part of a team responsible for the delivery of services across the wider University network. 

Key Account Building Manager Responsibilities 

  • The management and day-to-day operations, this front-line customer focused role, you will be the face of the Directorates Service delivery, you will be the first point of contact for all stakeholders using the service and facilities. 
  • Key contact and responder for all Estates and Facilities service delivery and be expected to ensure the service delivery is tailored to the customers’ requirements and meets the SLA’s, etc ensuring all services meet, Health safety and compliance and contractual obligations.
  • You will identify issues related to the services we offer in University buildings, excluding Capital Works/projects programmes, managing problems, rectifications and ensuring the services run smoothly within the environments under your remit.

Key Account Building Manager Requirements

  • Higher National Certificate (HNC) or, Higher National Diploma (HND) Building or Hospitality, Full City & Guilds Qualifications in a related trade.
  • Holder of a current clean full Driving Licence for manual cars   
  • IT literate– competent keyboard skills, ability to input/save data and use email
  • Competent in operating Security, Fire and CCTV systems
  • Knowledge of Contract Management, Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to improve standards and quality of service.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, (including report writing) verbal and written and to present coherent arguments to achieve the desired outcome with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Experience of managing budgets and financial resources.
  • Excellent organisational skills with demonstrable experience of planning the delivery of service and events.
  • Experience of leading, motivating and developing teams.
  • Experience within operational services in a customer focused environment.
