About the role 

Staffordshire University works in partnership to deliver police constable education and training for West Midlands, Staffordshire, West Mercia and Warwickshire police forces. We are currently recruiting to a number of Professional Support roles to join our team to support the delivery of this large policing education programme. 

Due to the nature of the Police Apprenticeships, the successful candidates will be required to travel across the West Midlands Region (covering the four police forces – Staffordshire Police, West Midlands Police, West Mercia Police, and Warwickshire Police) in order to meet with student officers as and when appropriate. Therefore, mobility is required for this position.

The post holder will work with learners, monitoring and assessing their progress in meeting and evidencing the knowledge, skills and behaviours outlined in the relevant apprenticeship and work-based education standards. The role holder will ensure all the relevant documentation is in place to meet funding and quality assurance requirements. The post holder will also undertake learning reviews, most of which will take place within the learners’ workplace. The post holder will be required to possess a valid driving licence and have access to a road worthy vehicle to facilitate off-site employer visits.
