ABOUT THE ROLE
The role of the test analyst is to work on a broad range of technologies, across multiple IT projects and IT changes, to contribute to and produce Test plans, results analysis and Test closure reports.
This role requires experience with the following testing techniques; Accessibility testing, Functional system testing, User Acceptance testing, End to End / Integration testing ,Performance and Load testing, Regression testing and technical component testing.
The role reports into the Test Manager and works closely with Business Analysts and IT Development to identify, documentand execute relevant tests linked to business requirements and IT solution designs.
Candidates will need to have experience working on multiple test activities concurrently and be comfortable working independently and dealing with complex problems. Experience with ERP systems would be an advantage.
ABOUT THE TEAM
The IT Services Test Team is comprised of a Test Manager, a Senior Test Analyst and 4 Test Analysts (including this position) We work in a hybrid fashion, splitting time between office (campus) and home, however there is no limit on time spent at the office and as we are a campus based university there is a minimum on-site requirement of 1 day per week.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Demonstrable experience testing a broad range of technologies and changes, oftenconcurrently.
- Experience of developing and delivering a range of IT and user test activities.
- ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL)
- Demonstrable success in buildinggood relationships with key internal and external parties.
- Experience of working independently and dealing with unforeseen problems and circumstances.
