Background

The role sits within the International Student Recruitment Team, which is part of the Marketing and External Relations Department of Professional Services. The International Student Recruitment Team is responsible for City’s international student recruitment activities.

Responsibilities

The International Student Recruitment Officer will be responsible for the planning and delivery of student recruitment activities; identifying and evaluating recruitment opportunities within the designated market; assessing and evaluating market information within the designated region and building as well as maintaining relationships with key stakeholders such as education agents and school counsellors.

Person Specification

The successful candidate will have excellent written and oral presentation skills, be able to work independently and build good working relationships both internally and externally. Candidates will have experience of working in an international student recruitment role within HE, ideally with responsibility for China. Significant overseas travel would be undertaken as part of the role.

Subject to agreement, relevant Professional Services roles may be undertaken in a hybrid way. This involves a combination of working on campus and at home each week.
