This role will support and manage the development of a brand new strategic initiative to support the growth and diversification of international students able to study at Aston University. In partnership with the Cambridge Education Group (CEG), Aston University is setting up the ONCAMPUS Aston Foundation Pathway Centre which will provide a broad range of pathway programmes enabling international students to access degree courses across the whole of the University. 

The post-holder will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the new pathway centre – supporting the University with its international strategic objectives. They will have a diverse skill set, highly-skilled at stakeholder management to a broad range of stakeholders, and be a capable project manager able to organise and manage both small scale events and project manage academic quality approvals through various University and College level committees.

You will enable the success of the ONCAMPUS Aston project by:

  •  Acting as operational liaison point between the ONCAMPUS Aston centre and the University, ensuring an open and efficient communication channel is maintained
  • Design and develop a stakeholder management and communication plan which increases the profile and understanding of the ONCAMPUS centre across the University;
  • Devise, project manage and run events and activities which support progression of students from the ONCAMPUS Aston centre to the University;
  • Work collaboratively with Aston University’s International teams and CEG’s in-market sales team to support recruitment activities in-market as the ‘centre expert’;
