Internal Only - Research Associate
Cardiff School of Engineering
You will conduct research within ecohydraulics and contribute to the overall research performance of the School and University, carrying out research leading to the publishing of work in high-quality journals and collaboration with industry partners. You will be expected to pursue excellence in research and to inspire others to do the same.
During the period 1.1.21 – 31.10.21 you will work on a project entitled “Development and testing of leaky barrier algorithms in the modelling of flood flows” funded by the Welsh Government Sêr Cymru II – WEFO ERDF Programme. From 1.11.21 – 23.03.22 you will work on a project entitled “Guidance for Leaky Barrier Design to Optimize Flood Attenuation and Structural Integrity” funded by the EPSRC IAA.
This post is full time, available from 1 January 2021 and is fixed term until 23 March 2022.
Salary: £33,797 - £40,322 per annum (Grade 6)
