As an inspirational and highly credible learning and teaching academic leader, you’ll provide transformational leadership for all academic teams to ensure that all academic colleagues are highly capable and skilled in current pedagogic practices to benefit our students. You will have an in-depth understanding of teaching and learning in higher education as an academic discipline, including current pedagogical research and scholarly work in higher education policy and practice. You will have a successful track record of successful cross-institutional leadership, and of managing significant budgets.

That’s why you’ll also thrive on the chance to enhance programme and curriculum development, with your background in pedagogical research, striving for excellence. It is essential you hold a relevant doctoral level qualification (or due to complete one) – as will leading on academic change projects, with the natural rapport to build reputable relationships with stakeholders and our students.
