The Institute for Sustainability | University of Surrey  is offering an exciting opportunity for a Research Manager position to support the growth of the Institute’s research income from key sponsors including UK Research & Innovation (UKRI), UK Government bodies, industry, charities and overseas funding agencies. This is a fixed term contract position available for up to 15months, starting as soon as possible. 

In this role, the Research Manager will support the development of high-quality proposals, aiming for large multi-partner bids where applicable and provide essential support in securing funding for large research project(s), as part of the Institute's programme.

The post holder will be joining a transdisciplinary team of scientists, innovators and industry experts from the University and beyond.

The ideal candidate should have experiences in bid development, preferably in sustainability, systems thinking or the social and natural sciences.
