Insight Analyst

About the role

You will advise and support senior stakeholders to inform decision making and measure progress towards strategic targets. Specifically, the role will involve:

  • Developing and maintaining a suite of dashboards and performance reports of strategic importance.
  • Producing reports and papers – including insights and recommendations – for senior decision makers.
  • Providing input to inform strategy development and annual planning.
  • Benchmarking the University’s performance against its peers and competitors.

This is a full time position, fixed term until 1st May 2025 or the early return of the post holder.


About you

Experience of working with large datasets and an ability to analyse, interpret and present complex information in a clear and succinct manner will be essential for this role. Excellent numeracy and analytical skills are also essential, ideally with a degree level qualification in a numerate subject.

Ideally, you will have prior experience of working in the Higher Education sector and an understanding of the current operating context for a university.
