A great opportunity has risen for an Innovation Partnerships Manager to help take forward our ambitious plans to triple public investment in respiratory research and innovation.
Asthma + Lung UK is the only charity in the UK fighting for everyone with a lung condition, aiming for a world where everyone can breathe with healthy lungs. We fund cutting-edge research, provide advice and support for the 12 million people who will get a lung condition during their lifetime. We also campaign for clean air and for better NHS diagnosis and treatment.
This is an exciting time in the health innovation space, with government and the NHS keen to engage with innovation to benefit people living with health conditions. We need to support the development of respiratory products and services – and to do so we need to see an increase in the amount invested into respiratory innovation.
Building on our existing relationships, you’ll be responsible for managing and influencing innovation funders and investors to increase investment in respiratory diseases. In the fast-changing space of health innovation, including HealthTech and AI, you will identify opportunities for us to build relationships, influence, develop policy positions and curate potential income-generating partnerships. You will also oversee the development of activities related to supporting innovators as they develop new products and services, providing expert consultancy as part of our Respiratory Insights service.
You’ll be an excellent communicator with an ability to influence senior stakeholders to deliver objectives. You will also have an understanding of the health technology and life sciences environment and opportunities for new approaches to managing health conditions via non-pharmacological treatments.
As well as a competitive salary, you’ll enjoy a range of benefits including 30 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), membership of a health cash plan, employee assistance programme, cycle-to-work scheme, interest-free annual season Travelcard loan and pension scheme. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation committed to being the driving force behind the transformation of lung health.
Location: Hybrid working between home and the Mansell Street office, London OR Remote working.
