Salary

Full time starting salary is normally in the range of £33,809 to £37,684 per annum, with potential progression up to £47,105 per annum


About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic team member to join the Library Education Information Services team based in the Kings Norton Library.  The team provides high-quality support and teaching to students and academic staff in the Schools of Aerospace, Transport and Manufacturing (SATM) and Water, Environment and Agrifood, Energy and Power (SWEE).

The successful candidate will develop and deliver teaching in library and information literacy, participate in projects as well as creating online guides and videos.

Some evening and weekend working will be necessary.

About you

You will be customer focused and seek to continuously improve practices to enhance the student experience. You should be a qualified librarian and/or have experience of teaching information literacy skills in a higher education setting.  You will be highly motivated, have a passion for teaching and learning with excellent communication and information literacy skills.
