We have recently established our Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT) and are recruiting an Assistant Professor with expertise in inclusive curriculum design & delivery to play an important role within the team.   

The post holder will have a relevant postgraduate qualification and a proven track record of successfully embedding anti-racist/decolonial methods, principles and praxis in learning and teaching. A keen knowledge of curriculum development and different models of education will enable the postholder to support staff in developing inclusive approaches across LSHTM’s education provision. Working closely with the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) team and relevant staff and student networks the postholder will provide high quality consultancy and development support to academic departments, individuals and teams to ensuring that inclusivity is embedded within wider School strategies. The post holder will also contribute to the wider activities of the CELT to ensure that the shared goals of the team are achieved.

The post is full time and permanent. The salary will be on the academic salary scale, Assistant Professor Grade 7, in the range £46,704-£53,465 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Director’s Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
