About the role

IIB focuses on partnerships and collaborative working with external, corporate partners and driving place-based innovation. IIBs key aim is to draw on the University’s education, research and physical assets to add value and impact to our partners. This includes research collaboration, commercial services, new venture development, skills, placements, and education partnerships.

This post will focus on corporate engagement and support for our growing Degree Apprenticeship portfolio, working primarily on the Leadership and Management programmes for the Business School. Applications from experienced account managers with knowledge of the relevant sector and a passion for apprenticeship programmes will be welcome.

This post offers an exciting opportunity for a highly-motivated individual with a keen interest in providing excellent customer service to support and develop our employer relationships across our apprenticeship provision.

About you

We are looking for an individual who can work towards continuously improving the employer partner relationship. 

You will be expected to proactively engage with new and current employer partners both to recruit apprentices and to manage the ongoing relationship with our employer partners.

You will work effectively and flexibly within a wider relationship management team in a busy environment to deliver an excellent, customer focused and seamless service, you will be expected to gain an in depth knowledge of apprenticeship regulations and the programmes offered by the University.
