Have you submitted your PhD in the School of Mathematics at the University of Leeds? Does the research you have done here have the potential for impact outside the University environment, and would you like to develop this? Do you already have an established relationship with a non-academic agency?

The School of Mathematics are looking for an Impact Fellow to join us for up to 12 months, to grow our potential for research impact by working directly with an external company or agency. You will take complete (or near-complete) research which was developed and published in Leeds and work with the company or agency, at least partly on-site, to help develop the impact of that research for the company.  The aim of your work will be to lay the foundations for future REF impact Case Studies.

You will have submitted your PhD in our School of Mathematics, and will have a record of published research carried out at the University. You’ll also have experience of working with an external company or agency, who are intending to incorporate your work into their activities. In addition, you’ll also have good interpersonal, communication and time management skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
