Summary of the role

The IPDM Food Systems and Conservation will be responsible for an interdisciplinary portfolio of partnerships and collaborative opportunities between the University and external stakeholders within public and private sectors, working with everyone from regional SMES to multinational corporates. The post holder will support the development and manage an ambitious and exciting range of initiatives including the Exeter Food Research Network and our Strategic Partnership with the National Trust. The postholder will work in a interdisciplinary environment working closely with other theme leads in IIB, such as Health and Wellbeing, Bioeconomy, Engineering and Net Zero.

We’re looking for a collaborative team player who can unlock opportunities and build partnerships to deliver solutions to the ecological, climate and food system crisis as part of IIB’s high profile Environment and Clean Growth Team.

The successful candidate will be interested in the latest research impacts across the economy and society, and possess excellent communication skills.
