The University of Lincoln ICT department manages a wide portfolio of projects designed to support the University's ambitions, ranging from cloud and on-premises infrastructure, networking, business systems, end user devices and specialised solutions for learning & Teaching and Research. These works aim to improve the experience of our students, staff and researchers.

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, self-motivated Project Manager to join the Programme Management Office on a 12 month Fixed Term basis. This role could be a great springboard opportunity for the right candidate to get into the Higher Education sector or bring your project management experience across from another field.

The role could largely be performed working remotely with expectations to attend campus about one day per week. Assigned to deliver one or more of our strategic projects, you will be driving the procuring and implementing solutions aligned to continuous improvement and business change.

You will work with change managers in planning, monitoring and co-ordinating activities, risk and issue management, negotiations and conflict management. You will ensure that project aims and outcomes are aligned to the University's strategic objectives and manage stakeholders to ensure good relations and effective communications, monitoring and controlling agreed plans to ensure they are delivered within time, budget and quality specified.

We provide our staff with a comprehensive benefit package which includes 30 days of annual leave (with additional University closure days and bank holidays totalling on average an additional 14 days), local and national discounts, green travel initiatives, and a variety of development opportunities.
