Your Responsibilities
What you’ll do
As lead for the team, you will work closely with the multidisciplinary team and wider services to deliver and develop a fast paced, innovative service, which offers patient focused, high quality care. You will manage the team and lead by example with positive role modelling to enhance collaborative working.
As part of the nursing service some of your duties will include a telephone advice line, virtual clinics and transitional clinics.
You will work collaboratively with specialist teams, CCGs and Primary Care Trusts, crossing care boundaries and providing clinical expertise to other health care professionals.
What we’re looking for
The successful candidate will need to have clear leadership/management experience on a background of GI nursing. You will be an enthusiastic nurse who is organized and self-motivated who aspires to further their career in IBD nursing.
You will need to have an excellent level of written and verbal communication skills. Good IT skills, telephone skills and the ability to project manage and problem solve to support the team.
If you have experience within IBD or wider GI specialty and demonstrate a positive attitude, enthusiasm and flexibility then we would like you to be part of our team.
