This role operates in a complex and highly regulated environment focussed upon ensuring University compliance with relevant legislation and protocols, in particular The Human Tissue Act 2004, which regulates the removal, storage and use of human tissue for research.
This newly established role(s) provides an exciting opportunity for someone seeking to establish a career in research governance within Oxford’s medical research administration. Using existing and acquired expertise and experience you will assist research groups in upholding high standards of practice to ensure that they comply with the regulations associated with providing human tissue and associated data to facilitate the undertaking of cutting-edge biomedical research. This is an ideal role if you have great attention to detail and enjoy working within a quality management framework.
We have two fixed-term roles available, one for 12 months and the second will run until 31 March 2020, please state your preference when applying.
