This is an exciting opportunity to shape a new role within the University’s central HR team. This post sits within the HR team (Team Leader and a HR Business Partner) that supports the departments in the Social Sciences Division of the University.

It will be your role to provide advice and guidance to managers on a range of HR queries and University HR policies and procedures. You will support HR Business Partners in complex case work, and ensure the smooth operational management of the HR office and coordination of HR events.

An experienced HR professional, you will have outstanding organisational skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, and a demonstrable experience of managing employee relations matters. A flexible and self-motivated approach will be key to the success of this new role.

You need to be confident and capable and are someone who enjoys a challenge and is used to dealing with conflicting priorities. You can develop constructive working relationships with key stakeholders and are professional and proactive in your approach. You will ideally be CIPD qualified or be working towards graduate level.
