Applications are invited for the full-time and fixed term post of School Helpdesk and Student and Programme Officer in the School of Performing and Digital Arts.  

Academic Administration at Royal Holloway is organised into six School Administration teams and a Doctoral School,  which are all part of the Academic Services directorate; a single professional service which supports the student journey. Administration teams have been designed to provide a consistent and effective service to both students and staff.

The role combines supporting the co-ordination of the Schools’ Helpdesk and Student and Programme administration.

Helpdesks within each School Administration team and the Student Services Centre have been designed to provide a consistent, accessible point of contact for all enquiries and services, making it easy for customers to obtain the information and assistance they require. 

It is expected that the role will be responsible for a variety of tasks and processes to support the delivery of academic programmes. The role holder will demonstrate a commitment to our shared vision and service standards. They will be expected to work closely with colleagues in the School as well as those across other academic and professional services areas. They will be able to work with minimal supervision and to know when they need to seek guidance from senior colleagues.

Candidates should be dedicated to providing excellent customer service to students and staff.  They should have excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team.  In addition, they should be able to demonstrate commitment to working in Higher Education administration.
