Health Education Manager

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated leader to join Bristol Veterinary School to deliver our School’s educational activities across the student lifecycle, delivered in a complex regulatory environment with multiple national and international accreditors.

This is an great opportunity to work in a demanding and rewarding environment, providing high quality support to students and academic colleagues. This diverse role leads and manages the delivery of administrative services underpinning educational activities in the School, supporting the end-to-end student journey and ensuring a high-quality student and staff experience. 

  • Lead the delivery of administration for our UG and PG programmes, working closely with Professional Services, Technical, and Academic colleagues within the School and Faculty.
  • Lead the teams responsible for all aspects of veterinary education and assessment, including external placement logistics and wellbeing support for students attending those.
  • Develop, implement and review administrative policies, procedures and systems to support education, maximising service quality and efficiency in line with University process improvement initiatives associated and, where necessary develop bespoke solutions to meet differing requirements of multiple national and international accreditors.
  • Provide professional advice to Academic colleagues and the School Management team.
  • Support the School Management team in strategic decision making, and forward planning. 

You have proven experience of delivering complex educational programmes, preferably with experience of managing external regulatory requirements.

You are committed to improving and enhancing the student experience with an ability to take initiative and be proactive and flexible in your approach to work.

A proven ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks to meet often-conflicting deadlines is a must.

You have relevant leadership and team management experience and possess the drive and customer care skills to deliver a high-quality service to a range of stakeholders at all levels.

Experience of working with a range of IT systems and software is also strongly preferred.

You have excellent communication skills, are able to work confidently and effectively with a range of internal and external contacts.

Salary: £41,732 - £46,974 per annum

Shift pattern: 35 hours per week/1FTE
