About the School: The School of Law at Arden University is proud to do things differently. A relatively new school within the Faculty of Social Sciences, the School has met the challenge of the SQE and created UG and PG qualifications that are fit for practice and beyond in this 4th  industrial revolution. Based on sound pedagogic principles, our programmes have been designed to enable digital and blended teaching practices to deliver learning which meets the needs of students and employers. Going forward, the School of Law will grow its portfolio, including working with international partners.     

The Opportunity: You will champion the School of Law internally and externally. Set the strategic direction for the School by offering a clear vision of academic and professional excellence in alignment with Faculty and wider University objectives and mindful of the wider context of legal education. Take accountability for the P&L of the School and deliver substantial growth via development of innovative, practice-focused programmes.

About You: An ambitious and accomplished academic leader, the successful candidate will be keen to take the School of Law to the next level of development. Able to provide clear vision and direction, you will contribute to achieving the strategic objectives of the newly formed Faculty of Social Sciences and put student success at the heart of everything you do. As a qualified Solicitor or Barrister with PQE, you will help diversify our offer to students ensuring that they are prepared for a range of careers in the legal sector and beyond. Innovative and entrepreneurial, you will respond positively to new opportunities for growth while ensuring a high-quality student experience through a commitment to continuation and successful graduate outcomes.
