The role

The College of Social Sciences is looking to appoint two highly motivated professionals with significant relevant practical operational experience to lead school based professional services teams in, one based in Birmingham Business School and other in the School of Education  

These are crucial posts in the College of Social Sciences in which the post holder works collaboratively as part of the College Professional Services Senior Leadership Team and with staff across the College and the University to contribute to the development and implementation of College and School strategic objectives.

The role holder will work closely with Academic and Professional Services leaders to ensure the provision of excellent service delivery within the School, by providing effective and visible leadership.   The role is both diverse and challenging and offers opportunities to work across a breadth of projects and initiatives in addition to providing an environment in which are staff and students can thrive.

We are seeking candidates with a combination of excellent communication and leadership skills, significant operational experience, and a commitment to excellent service delivery through a collaborative and inclusive approach.
