Head of HR Business Partnering

We have an exciting opportunity for a proven Business Partner to provide strategic leadership and management to our Business Partnering team and partner with our Science Directorate, supported by a junior BP. Reporting to the HR Director this role sits on our HR Management team and works with colleagues across the department to deliver HR services and our People and Culture Strategy.

With around 500 employees our Science Directorate is transforming how it works and operates, maximising the quality and impact of our science to ensure we deliver our Manifesto for Change.  

You will have proven experience of partnering to a client group and excellent generalist HR experience including performance improvement and culture change. You will provide challenge, guidance and coaching, developing strong relationships to drive people outcomes and deliver business objectives. Resilience and strong influencing skills are essential; and as a leader you must set direction and develop a team ethos, able to manage competing demands and manage risk.

This role is based at Kew with the option of regular home working, subject to operational requirements. 

Interviews are planned for 4th April (at Kew).

The salary will be £56,445 - £58,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
