As our Head of Financial Reporting and Compliance, you will be responsible for all aspects of financial accounting, including preparation of the Annual Report and Financial Statements, treasury management and taxation.
You will work with stakeholders across the University to provide expert advice and ensure compliance with internal and external financial regulations, as well as being the lead contact for external stakeholders such as external audit, banks and HMRC.
You will lead the Financial Reporting and Compliance team and have responsibility for the Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger functions.
The Financial Reporting and Compliance team is part of the Finance & Procurement Directorate which is responsible for the delivery of professional financial and accounting advice and decision support services to University staff and external stakeholders.
We also ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory financial requirements.
The team is responsible for statutory financial reporting, the integrity of financial transactions, financial compliance, external regulatory compliance (e.g. tax) and treasury management.
