Do you want to help secure some of the most impactful gifts of your career? Here at Cambridge University's Development and Alumni Relations office, we are looking for a major gifts fundraiser for the School of the Biological Sciences, one of the most exciting Schools of the University.

What philanthropy does here at the University changes the world for the better. We know what we can deliver, and we want you to help us, building on the incredible successes we have already had.

We are looking for the lead fundraiser for the School of Biological Sciences, one of the most exciting Schools of the University. It has a highly successful fundraising programme, raising gifts at the 6, 7 and 8 figure level.

The research that the School does is wide-ranging, globally impactful and time critical. It includes finding a cure for Alzheimer's Disease, ensuring global food security, and increasing our fundamental understanding of cancer and neuroscience. The academics working in the School are extraordinary to work with and engaged with fundraising and what philanthropy can do.

You will be working as part of the Schools team - we are a warm, supportive and fun team who look out for each other. You will find it a welcoming place to work!

You do not need a background in scientific fundraising for this position, we are looking for someone who is intellectually curious, skilled at building lasting relationships and a team player. This role is based in central Cambridge. We practise a hybrid working model and the successful candidate will be expected to be in the office for a minimum of two days a week.
