Role Description

About the role

CMDL largely supports a portfolio of customised and open enrolment executive programmes offered through Cranfield Executive Development (CED). This includes partnering and collaboration with Cranfield’s School of Management Faculty and Administrative departments.

Our consequent steep growth trajectory, especially in the field of Apprenticeships, requires us to source a talented individual to support the management and execution of our Apprenticeship and Customised programmes, while also helping us to secure further business and maintain our growth.

About You

To support this work, we are currently looking to recruit a credible, influential and proactive individual who relishes the opportunity to bring world-class development interventions to UK and global clients.

The role offers the opportunity to influence the success of the Government’s Apprenticeship initiative on the UK economy, and to work internationally across a range of sectors. Cranfield is committed to being client-focussed and putting the client at the heart of everything we do. This brings the successful applicant the opportunity to work in a variety of ways with a wide range of organisations, sectors, and individuals.

Our customers are both external (delegates and their client sponsors) and internal (academic staff, associates, and other Executive Development Directors & colleagues).  This role will provide robust execution of learning interventions that delight client sponsors and delegates alike. The successful applicant will also help win new business, and work with clients to identify new opportunities.

To be successful in this role you will require a deep understanding of the level 7 Senior Leaders Apprenticeship standard, along with previous experience of programme management and execution, key account management, balancing of multiple programmes and priorities, and success in winning new business through proposal writing and pitching.

It is essential that the post-holder is strongly literate and numerate, can think on their feet, has the resilience to work independently, and has the credibility to influence senior executives and nurture relationships.
