Who are we looking for?
We are currently looking for a new Head of Academic Quality to join the CEG Digital division, part of the larger Cambridge Education Group.
The role will be on a full-time, permanent basis. The location is Homebased – United Kingdom, however, we do have offices in Cambridge and Newcastle (U.K).
Overview:
The Head of Academic Quality will ensure the continued provision of high-quality online learning experiences with CEG Digital’s partner institutions. Similarly, the Head of Academic Quality will work closely with programme teams including senior academics to devise innovative online programmes aligned with sector norms, attending validation events, and contributing to successful course accreditations.
With proven experience in developing and implementing academic quality control practices which effect both internal and external stakeholders, the postholder will be responsible for working with key stakeholders across the programme portfolio to identify, document, and assure best practices across the pedagogical model, assessment practices, and regulations. This will involve collaborating with internal operational teams to co-ordinate, curate, and manage a suite of policies informed by the wider Higher Education landscape.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead quality practice for CEG Digital products, including collaborative and standalone provision.
- To lead knowledge sharing across Academic Services and beyond, ensuring that CEG Digital’s teams work within HE best practice.
- To manage quality processes across all CEG Digital partnerships.
- To actively support new programme validation processes at partner institutions.
- To assist academic teams at universities with the accreditation of online programmes by professional bodies.
- To co-ordinate the curation of CEG Digital’s policies and procedures and establish clear protocols for quality audits.
