Your role as Hall Porter

You will be the first point of contact for students and visitors to the Halls of residence, maintaining the security buildings, liaising with internal and external departments and providing excellent customer service at all times. You will be required to set up meeting rooms and carry out basic maintenance and cleaning tasks completing relevant documentation as required. Experience of work based small scale maintenance and demonstrable customer service skills are essential for this role.

Hours of work are full time, 36.25 per week, 5 days out of 7 to be arranged including weekends, working regular shifts either 11.45am and 8.00pm or 9.45am and 6.00pm. flexibility will be required. Job share arrangements may be considered

The successful candidate for these posts will be expected to attend the Estates and Facilities training courses which run Monday to Friday mornings. Further details will be given at interview.
