Group Technical Accounting Manager

As Group Technical Accounting Manager you will be responsible for managing all technical accounting changes which impact the University's financial and management reporting including pensions, impairments, fair valuation of Bonds, and valuation of investments. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing the Group accounting policies, and for review and coordination of statutory accounts of University subsidiary entities.

Educated to degree level and a fully qualified accountant you will have extensive knowledge of current UK Financial Reporting Standards (FRSs), experience of using computerised accounting systems and reporting tools to analyse and report upon large complex data sets.

Once an offer of employment has been accepted, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a basic disclosure (criminal records check) check, a health assessment and a security check.
