This full time, permanent post is available as soon as possible.
This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.
Summary of the role
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Graduation team and make a real difference to the student and staff experience. This post will support graduation events and data and enquiry management for our Exeter and Cornwall campuses. This post will involve working with staff, students and external graduation suppliers, so experience of working in a customer focussed environment is very important. As well as managing student data, the post holder will also be encouraged to consider how to improve data quality through process improvement and staff training.
You will be a confident communicator and will be able to manage a diverse and stimulating workload. You will have sound knowledge and previous experience of providing clerical, administrative and secretarial support, with extensive experience of using Microsoft Office. You will have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team and will have excellent organisational skills. You will be expected to be flexible and proactive, providing support to the Graduation Coordinator as necessary. Experience of using complex databases and/or SITS or other student records databases would be an advantage. Proven experience of event organisation is essential. The ability to keep calm under pressure, prioritise and maintain excellent attention to detail is of paramount importance.
Please ensure you read the Job Description and Person Specification for full details of this role.
