An exciting opportunity has arisen as a Graduate Engagement Coordinator to support our recent graduates on their journey to secure employment or further study.

 The Graduate Engagement Coordinator is responsible for taking the lead on managing an active ‘caseload’ of recent graduates and supporting them in their pursuit of a graduate role or further study. Working closely with them to understand, guide and support them with a variety of graduate specific recruitment initiatives.  You will do this on a consultative approach to support graduates through 1 to 1 and 1 to many initiatives. You will be responsible for running presentations and workshops as well as encouraged to develop your own content to best support our graduates. With support from the Graduate Employability Consultant, you will also help plan, deliver, and evaluate short term projects either with employers or internally within Aston.

For you to succeed in the role we are looking for someone who either has a background in careers advice and guidance or someone with knowledge of recruitment processes ideally across a range of employers.  You will have experience of providing support in a 1 to 1 or 1 to many environments, ideally in a higher education, further education, HR, recruitment, or similar industry. We would also expect you to have experience in a customer facing role and a can-do attitude.

This role is based on campus and working from home and will continue in this way for the foreseeable future. Support and training will be given on the job, and there is a high chance that the role will be extended after the initial fixed term.
