Job Summary - The Commercial Marketing Team at The University of Exeter are recruiting a creative graduate to join them as a Marketing and Content Assistant. You will support the team by promoting the services of the Commercial, Residential and Campus Services (CRC) areas at the university which includes Event Exeter, catering, retail and residential services. You will pull together fun content, plan and organise social media campaigns, undertake market research designed to provide opportunities for the teams within CRC to generate income and enhance the student experience. This role is part of the Graduate Business Partnership (GBP) Scheme and offers full-time hours (36.5 hours per week) until June 2024. About You - You should be a graduate who is able to write quality content, has great IT skills, has excellent attention to detail, has planning skills including creating project or content calendars, and is able to demonstrate the ability to manage a number of different projects at the same time and organise and prioritise own workload. We are interested in candidates who have studied subjects relevant to marketing and who have a desire and interest in a marketing career. You should have an action-oriented and process driven nature, with the ability to manage several activities simultaneously, be tech savvy ideally with ideas to bring to the team, be fun, friendly and generally enjoy working with people, and be confident and happy to work with a range of people, often acting on own initiative. You should have a natural curiosity in and excellent knowledge of social media platforms, especially TikTok and Instagram and have prior experience of using social media, ideally but not essentially for a business, group or organisation. Experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and basic video editing would be an advantage but is not essential.
