Job Summary - The Digital Team at the University of Exeter have a new opportunity for a Graduate UI Developer to join their team. You will be joining the university during an exciting period of digital transformation, and you’ll support some of the key activities that will drive the digital developments for students and staff. You will learn how to identify target audiences for specific products and ensure consumers have a user-friendly experience. You’ll also work alongside experienced UX researchers and designers, and you’ll have the opportunity to work towards certifications in Google UI Design. This role is part of the Graduate Business Partnership (GBP) Scheme and offers full-time hours (36.5 hours per week) over a 23-month period.  You will have access to wide range of benefits including flexible/hybrid working with your main base being The Forum at Streatham Campus in Exeter. About You - You should be a graduate who has a relevant university degree showing excellence and strong analytical skills or equivalent professional experience, have solid communication skills with the astuteness to really listen, have the ability to receive constructive criticism to ultimately improve the end result, and be a creative idea generator with a problem-solving mindset. You should have confidence to reach the target audience and be eager to learn and contribute to a high-volume customer facing service. You should have a strong understanding of design principles, have experience of HTML, CSS, Javascript, Jason, AJAX and JQuery, have graphic development skills such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and have experience working in an agile team.
