Job Summary - This is an exciting opportunity to help develop and lead the day-to-day implementation of the Communication and Engagement Strategies for Devon Local Nature Partnership and for the emerging Devon, Plymouth and Torbay Local Nature Recovery Strategy.  You will be involved in communications, social media, event planning and stakeholder management.  This role is part of the Graduate Business Partnership (GBP) Scheme and offers full time hours (36.5 per week) for 12 months with the potential to extend.  You will be employed by the University of Exeter and seconded to Devon County Council Environment Team which means you will have access to the benefits on offer from both organisations.  There is a hybrid working arrangement in place.  You will need to attend meetings and workshops across Devon as well as spending at least one or two days a week in the Exeter office. About You - You should be a recent graduate who has excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organisational skills, excellent IT skills, and some knowledge of UK wildlife as well as key sectors and ecosystem services/natural solutions such as carbon sequestration, health, flood control, water quality, pollination, tourism and recreation. You should have a keen interest in the natural environment, land use, ecosystem services/natural solutions and community engagement, be a team player, have people skills, be proactive enthusiastic, confident, self-motivated and able to work, have a strong level of creativity and innovation, and be a strategic thinker. You should also have experience of networking and partnership working, organising events and events and webinars in person and / or using Teams and Zoom, and experience in in a similar communications or engagement role.
