Fitters Assistant

The role

The role is based at the Clifton Campus and involves working across all areas of the estate. You will be working with our team of Building Services maintenance staff, assisting with the mechanical building services maintenance. These include heating systems, hot and cold water distribution, foul and storm water drainage systems, air conditioning and ventilation systems.

What will you be doing?

You will be responding to reactive maintenance issues and taking an active role in our planned preventive maintenance program (PPM). You will be using our computerised maintenance management system, interacting using ipad or mobile smart phone. As a member of the team, you will be working closely with other trades, mainly working with the mechanical fitters and technicians.

You should apply if

You should apply if you have previous experience within the facilities maintenance industry, are computer literate and are able to work autonomously to effectively manage the work allocated to you by our maintenance Help Desk, maintenance supervisors or maintenance managers.
