This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.

Summary of the Role

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Finance Assistant to join a very busy and dynamic Accounts Receivable team.

The role sits within the Accounts Receivable Team in the Financial Operations Department at the University of Exeter. The Financial Operations strategy encompasses cross functional working and a continuous improvement ethos, encouraging feedback to increase efficiencies, drive innovation and promote a positive and empowered work environment.

As a member of the team, key areas that you will support include work-load management and day to day supervision of the Accounts Receivable Team, responding to escalated queries, ensuring timely payments from our Commercial Customers and Students, and a wide range of other key financial processes. You will work closely with multiple individuals across various teams within the University in delivering exceptional service to all stakeholders. We are seeking a proactive, positive team player who will exhibit our core values.
