Financial Controller

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Financial Controller, you will be a key part of the Finance Senior Management Team. You will deliver strategic leadership of all financial control and compliance activities, including statutory reporting, tax and VAT returns, and the integrity of systems. You will be responsible for the control of income streams, including where the activity and associated invoicing sits elsewhere.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in the role you will have: 

• Knowledge and understanding of appropriate financial control measures. 
• Experience of working as a member of a senior finance team within a large, complex organisation. 
• Experience of leading and managing high performing teams including management of change processes. 
• Experience of working with and for Board and Executive level committees. 
• The ability to identify and explore opportunities for service and business improvement, to be able to drive analysis and identify, prioritise and implement improvements and efficiencies, ensuring that the organisation has the most appropriate financial control measures in place. 
• A CCAB qualification and evidence of up to date CPD.
