Financial Controller

The role

Hult International Business School is currently seeking a Financial Controller and future finance leader. You will be in charge of the accounting team, have an analyst supporting you with your forecasts and analysis to the leadership team, ensure compliance and accuracy with financial reporting, cash management including point of contact for bank relationship, cash-flow forecasting and to be an excellent business partner to the organization. You will work closely with the CFO and leadership team on all internal and external reporting, including preparation for board meetings. You will need to embrace an energetic and fast paced environment to be a good fit!

You will be partnering with other managers, within and outside of the global finance department and reporting to the Finance Manager. you will be part of a growing team that emphasizes ownership and engagement from the entire school. For the successful candidate, this position provides immense opportunities for growth and ownership, with the requirement to contribute to large scale business decisions and planning. This position comes with 4 direct reports.

The position is based at Hult International Business School’s campus in Cambridge, MA.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Master Degree in Business Administration/ Finance/ Economics or similar.
• CPA or other relevant certification is an advantage.
• Four or more years’ experience in the field of accounting or controller function.
• Prior team management experience, at least two years, with demonstrated successful development of staff.
• Prior project management/process improvement experience desirable.
• The ability to structure, plan and prioritize work in order to deliver against multiple deadlines.
• The capacity to collaborate with people across a wide variety of skills and seniority to deliver results.
• Displays accountability and commitment to team goals.
• Strong communication and social skills with all levels of management.
• International experience is considered an advantage
