About the role:
We are currently looking for a Finance Officer within the Finance Department. The aim of this post is to provide financial support to the Chief Finance Officer, Finance Operations Manager and the budget holders within the Institute.
About you:
You should be educated to degree level in Finance or related subject or have equivalent relevant experience along with a high level of technical computer skills, particularly around Microsoft Excel. You will have proven work experience in the field of finance and experience working in the public sector (Higher Education/NHS sectors). Experience of taking an active role in meetings and presenting would be an advantage. Knowledge of finance systems e.g., Oracle is also desirable, although training will be provided.
