Oxford Brookes is a leading institution dedicated to academic excellence, research, and fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment. We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic individual to join our Strategic Planning and Market Intelligence team (SP&MI).

The Strategic Change and Planning Division (SCAP), exists primarily to support strategic decision-making across the University. The Strategic Planning and Market Intelligence team acts as a bridge between evidence sources and university business areas, applying their professional skills and expertise to help answer essential strategic questions being addressed by our colleagues in academic faculties, marketing & recruitment, Academic and Student Administration, etc.

This is part time (0.8 FTE), fixed term maternity cover post for five months. Post to start in April.

Overall purpose of post:

In this dynamic technical role of Faculty Planning Partner (FPP), you will play a crucial part in achieving the aim of supporting senior decision-making as much of the Office’s activity is delivered in partnership with the University’s four faculties. The FPP works with a dedicated Faculty to support the development of academic strategy and resource planning. Faculty Planning Partners may attend Faculty Executive meetings, and work closely with their respective Pro-Vice Chancellor Deans, Associate Deans, and colleagues within SCAP to manage, support and coordinate annual planning and resourcing activities. FPPs take a lead supporting role in developing, supporting and defining Faculty level strategy and priorities, and manage the relationship between the Faculty and SCAP.

Collaborating closely with the Market Intelligence Planning Partner, you'll ensure a cohesive and collaborative approach to analysing, utilising, and communicating valuable insights.
