We are seeking to appoint a full-time Faculty Office Administrator to join a professional and busy office team to provide a full range of administrative support across the Faculty of Education’s programmes. The role will suit an experienced and well-organised administrator with a commitment to supporting the student life cycle.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated to provide a comprehensive, high quality, and effective administration service, sharing responsibility for efficient and seamless delivery of services across the faculty. Responsible for a portfolio of courses and maintaining office data management systems, whilst undertaking a full range of general office functions to facilitate support for students and colleagues across the Faculty of Education.

We are seeking to recruit an experienced administrator, who has a commitment to delivering high-quality services, understands the modern higher education environment and can adapt to change, upskilling when necessary.  Experience of dealing with external partners, in particular schools, would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a busy office environment and be educated to at least GCSE standard, though a relevant business administration qualification would be desirable along with relevant work experience. You will need excellent IT skills with experience of using Microsoft Office 365 applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word, One Drive and Teams and  have experience of data management Systems. Being able to manage a busy workload whist working effectively as part of a team, you will have excellent communication skills, and the ability to work on your own initiative together with administrative and customer service experience within a complex environment.
