Library Services
USW Library Services offers a wide range of services and collections to support the teaching, learning and research activities of the University, with a strong focus on a positive student experience, a digital-first collection development approach and continuous service improvement and innovation.
You will join a friendly team of Faculty Librarians within Library Services based at Pontypridd.

As a Faculty Librarian you will be responsible for liaising with academic staff, students and researchers in the subject areas of Sport and Chiropractic. You will design and deliver information literacy skills teaching, manage and promote appropriate learning resources in all formats and provide high-quality information and advice services through virtual chat and one-to-one appointments.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and self- motivated librarian with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a strong understanding of the needs of library users and an interest in technological developments in libraries. You will have a qualification in a library or information science discipline or equivalent experience in an academic library or information service.

This is a 0.8fte post covering maternity leave for a period of 9 months.
