Salary:

£31,396 to £37,099 per annum, pro rata

(actual salary - £12,584 to £14,870 pa)

(Up to £39,347 per annum, pro rata for an exceptional candidate)

The University of Winchester are looking for a Faculty Employability Adviser to work in our Careers and Opportunities team to deliver careers information, advice and guidance in the curriculum and as part of our central offer.

We are focused on making a difference to our students and graduates and providing them with the best student experience. You will be passionate about careers, have excellent industry knowledge and awareness of the latest trends and thinking in careers education.

The role will work with a range of course areas and we are looking for someone who can be creative in their delivery, ensuring students are engaged and supported with the employability delivered through the curriculum. This role will work with a range of stakeholders from academics to employers, as well as working closely with the wider Careers and Opportunities Team, which is part of the Student Support and Success team at the University.

Candidates should either hold or be working towards a professional Careers qualification. However, candidates who do not hold the qualification should be able to evidence their experience of working in information and advice and evidence a sound understanding of the challenges involved in Careers work within Higher Education. We may consider funding and support for the right candidate to undertake a relevant Careers Guidance qualification.
