Are you an experienced professional with the ambition to support the development of key external relationships and the activities of the Centre for Executive and Professional Education (CEPE)? Do you have the drive to support external engagement activities across the Business School by providing operational support and liaising with colleagues in other professional services?
As the Operations Manager you will support the Director of External Engagement by managing the operational activities of the External Engagement Team, including CEPE. This will include working with colleagues in other professional service teams such as finance, human resources, marketing, and facilities to support the external engagement activities.
You will help to co-ordinate the activities of the External Engagement Team through organising meetings, travel, and events. You will liaise with key stakeholders both within and outside of the Business School and provide diary management support for the Director of External Engagement.
You will co-ordinate the communications and material (digital and physical) for the Educational Team. You will provide support to the School to achieve the operational activities related to external engagement in the new student hub building.
This will involve delegated budget holder responsibility and working with finance colleagues to provide financial forecasts, plans and costings. You will monitor activity against budgets and support the finance and purchasing processes including liaising with suppliers and ensuring appropriate HR authorisations and HR policies are followed.
You will co-ordinate the communications and material (digital and physical) for the Educational Team. You will provide support to the School to achieve the operational activities related to external engagement in the new student hub building.
As Operations Manager you will be instrumental in helping to draw together the diverse activities that take place across the Business School relating to external engagement. You will help to share good practice and to establish further opportunities for student and staff external engagement in both education and research contexts.
